And some more...
These layouts go back to the use your old stash challenge. For the first one I used some old rubons from the bohemia line from My Mind's Eye.
And for this Christmas-y layout I used some VERY, VERY old stickers I don't remember who made them...but aren't they so cute? I used them for my title along the bottom.
Happy Scrappin'

Whirlwind Weekend...
So I had the opportunity to bring my store along with me to a crop in Swan Lake, Manitoba and it was a blast! I finished 21 pages! That made 14 layouts (some 1 page and some 2 page layouts). I also made it about half way through my 3 Angel albums that I created at a class in Brandon back in February and completed a few other little projects while I was there. It was so much fun! And the gals out there are hilarious!!! We laughed so hard that just thinking about it my sides still ache. I had a great time and unfortunately forgot to take a picture of my usual messy station, but I'll post some pictures of some of the layouts later on this week.
Now that we're back home I've been busy putting my store back together and I am happy to say we're back to normal. We have lots of new product (flowers, brads, jewels, stickers, paper...) and it's all out in the store to view. Here's a little peek...

Sweet Baby...
This is one of the layouts I completed this past weekend...Something quick and easy with a little challenge. What was the challenge you ask? Well I like purchasing white (or ivory) flowers so when I need a flower in a certain color I just make it.
See those pretty orange flowers? They were colored with Glimmer Mists and Stickles. I sprayed a couple "spritz" of Creamsicle, then one spritz of Tattered Leather (to darken the color), then sprayed the entire flower with creamsicle again for full coverage. After I was done they just didn't look dark enough so I added orange stickles to the outside of the petals for sparkle and add more color.

Challenge : Use some of your older stash
This was a great challenge. I went digging in my scrapbook stash (which for any of you who know me is quite a feet LOL!), anywho I dug deep waaayyyyy past last year's favorite embellishments, past the stickers I have collected for years and years and got right down to the bottom and dug out a bag full of stuff that I have challenged myself to use at my next scrapbooking crop. Well, here's layout #1 from that challenge for me. What do you think? Can you find the older items???
HAHA!!! I thought you couldn't. For those of you curious people...take a second look. The eyelet flowers were one of my very first eyelet purchases well over 8 years ago (but aren't they soo cute!) That butterfly stamp...know where it's been? At the bottom of my stamp bin for quite a while I bought that waayyyy back (I can't remember when). It was one of the first acrylic stamps that came out. What about those puffy tags? Those are from Making Memories that I bought over 4 years ago. And the last thing on my layout? The rubon flowers were from Basic Grey from about 3 years ago...but wait! Did you notice something? I took some purple smooch and painted the petals of the flowers and added some Kaisercraft bling flowers to it to jazz it up.
Now it's your turn...go through your stash and use those amazing product you bought! You bought them for a reason, so why not enjoy them on a layout. I know I'm going to treasure this layout : )

Finally!!!
I have been dying to get this one off my plate. I started it almost a year ago I would say and just finally got around to putting the pictures and journalling into it. I love to create, but when it comes to the finishing touches I tend to slack off. Since my scrapbooking stuff has finally made it to it's own official scrapbook room I've been busy creating a spot of inspiration to draw myself in. Even if I can only find a couple of hour here and there I find myself drawn to go and look around my room which in turn inspires me to sit down and create. Enjoy!
